Top 5 Medical Apps in Colombia Q1 2022

Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top five medical apps in Colombia exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement. Here, we break down the performance of these apps, providing insights based on data from Sensor Tower.

Salud Total EPS-S experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from 6K in late December 2021 and peaking at approximately 15K by the end of March 2022. Active users also saw a steady increase from around 29K to over 43K in the same period.

NUEVA EPS MÓVIL showed an upward trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.7K and reaching 15K in late January, then fluctuating between 8.9K and 12.2K for the rest of the quarter. Active user numbers rose from 21.6K to a peak of 34.6K at the end of January, followed by a slight decline to around 30.7K by the end of March.

EPS Sanitas saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.9K and growing to approximately 12.7K by the end of March. The app's active users also increased, from 9.1K in late December to 23.2K by the end of the quarter.

Medicamentos Colsubsidio had a more varied download pattern, with numbers ranging from 1.4K to 4K throughout the quarter. The highest download week was in early January with around 4.1K.

Finally, Colsanitas maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 1.4K weekly downloads across the quarter.
